Chepino is a village in Western Bulgaria, located in the municipality of Kovachevtsi, Pernik District. It is 8 km north of the municipal center of the village of Kovachevtsi, 25 km northwest of the former administrative (district) center of the town of Kovachevtsi. Radomir and 60 km southwest of the capital Sofia.The area is famous for the Chepino Monastery and the proximity to the Lobosh dam.
